It was a nice day at Deercreek with some good scores made.  I did hear some gritching about the greens, which had recently been punched, and someone said that the practice tee ran out of balls before everyone had an opportunity to warm up.  The food was great and the scorecards and scoreboards were right on.

We only had two changes to the rosters after they were submitted for this match.  That is very good.  Everyone showed up except one player from Hidden Hills.

All scorecards were accounted for for the first time in several months.

Thanks to all the people who helped out at Deercreek.  That includes Roy Gulick, Tom Alfano, PGA ProfessionalLarry Von Dolteren SNJohn Pujol (QH), Dave Noble (DC), Bob Stricker (DC), Bill Bassett (DC) and John Tomka (DC).

SCORECARDS

The scorecards were very good this month.  There were only a few cards where legibility was an issue.

SCORING:

We made a few small errors at the scoring table this month but none of the mistakes affected any scores or totals.  These guys deserve a great deal of credit for what they do and how well they do it.

ARTICLES

Articles of interest to MSIS members are accepted and will be published in this report.  Just email your article to me.  You must sign it.

I am sure that you all see or hear things at our matches that would be of interest to us all.  Funny stories about things that happen on the course.  They don't have to be the absolute truth!  Brag about a great hole you played or a great shot you hit.  Here again, you may stretch the truth.  Write them up and send them to me.  It would make this a much more interesting publication.
