It was nearly perfect weather for golf at Deerwood. Probably the best we have ever had for the Brady Cup match. All 15 teams and 120 players were there for this event. The scoring was higher than normal. Probably due to the nice conditions.
THE BATTLE FOR THE CUP:
Final Standings
Hidden Hills: This team played tough all year and finished in high style. By finishing 2nd in this final match of the season, Hidden Hills out-distanced its nearest competitor by 21 points. Team Rep, Larry Dismore did a fine job of handling his team this year. Larry always seemed to know which members he should play and, for the most part, he was right. Click the thumbnail for a larger picture of the winning team.
Hidden Hills had to hold off a strong effort by Eagle Harbor who finished in 2nd place, only 21 points behind the lead. Sawgrass took 3rd place and the defending champions from Jacksonville G&CC finished 4th.

SCORECARDS
Your scorecards were good this month although there were a few legibility problems. We found no cards with missing signatures.
SCORING
The scoring committee did an excellent job this month, making only two errors! That is fantastic when you consider the amount of data that we handle and all of the commotion around us as we work.
One error was pointed out by the player and it was fixed. On the other error, we gave the player 10 points too many. He didn't bring it to our attention. Hmmm??? Thankfully, neither error affected the winners of any prizes. All errors have been
corrected in the database and the standings are now official.
Thanks for all the help with the post-match scoring at Deerwood. Those who worked were Tex Blinn HH, Joe Power EH, Bob Hubbard OP, Glenn Dobrick SG, Frank Mitchell MP, and Mike Cooper SN.
